Anxiety Before a Major Shift

As we move through this phase of our human/divine journey many are experiencing anxiety. This may be something you have experienced before yet perhaps not to the intensity or frequency with which it is now occurring. If this be the case rest assured that this is a common symptom of the changes that are transforming us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As we continue to change along with the vibrations of the planet, we encounter stuck points. These stuck points are the areas of our life where we have held on to old patterns of thinking or old wounds and habits. And as we move through the energies around us we find that the denser aspects of our selves can no longer sustain themselves in the higher frequencies and thus start to vibrate and remove themselves from our bodies. When this happens we feel the resulting tug which brings about fear, thus the anxiety, of moving forward and letting go of what was familiar to us. We are actually stepping into the unknown. This can produce intense feelings of vulnerability. Yet to hold on to what no longer works as we move into this new energy, keeps us suspended longer in these intense feelings.

There is another aspect to this transition, for as we are experiencing this anxiety we can be sure that after we have moved through it, major changes come into our lives. This is a good thing. It is as if we are moving through a horizontal vortex. We start at the larger opening and are moving towards the smaller end. As we get closer and closer to the small end, all of our energy becomes more condensed and the pressure builds until it might seem as if the pressure is too much. Right before squeezing through the narrow end of this vortex, the pressure builds and all of our fears and worries that normally roam in our energy field come close together. As we acknowledge these fears and look at them head on, we can leg go, as we find it easier to slip through and find ourselves on the other side, calmer and different.

Here we can start to realize that our perceptions have been altered and the world around us is seen differently, perhaps more objectively and in a lighter way. For how we experience the world around us depends on our prior experiences, which form our belief systems. Once these change, so does our experience of the world.

As we transverses through the narrow passage ways, there are tools that can help us when we are caught in the grips of anxiety. Some affective techniques follow below.

Rescue Remedy is a Bach flower essence that calms the nervous system. This will enable you to be present to what is going on without the over reaction of the nerves. This is available at all natural food stores.

Reiki Technique for calming the physical body: Activate the hands, by rubbing them together, and place one on the forehead and the other on the stomach area. Breathe deeply and hold this position for a few minutes until the body feels calm.

Crossing Your Arms across your chest can alleviate stress also. You can just sit or lie down with your arms crossed, right hand on your left shoulder and your left hand on your right shoulder. This position can be held for as long as it is needed.

EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique according to Dr. Mercola “is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem - whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. -- and voice positive affirmations.” It is easy and quick to learn and I have found it to be very affective. Just Google EFT and you will find a number of very informative websites that will actually teach you for free.

It is reassuring to know that before anything new can arrive in your life, the old must be discarded. So when anxiety comes upon you, know that you will be embarking on a new life journey. It is an indication that you are transforming from within and now you will be shown opportunities to create a new life for your self. This new life can still include some of the old yet it will be experienced differently. In actuality the anxiety can be viewed as “growing pains”. Once you have moved through it, you will be experiencing your life with an expanded awareness. Just remember, don’t go back to sleep, this is your time to create.

As with anything that I share...please take what resonates with you and leave the rest.

Continue to enjoy the journey, sharing your light with those around you.
